Application Procedure

Applicants can ask for the Application Form from the School of International Education of the University or download the Application Form from the website of the University.

The applicant should submit the Application Form together with the following documents to the School of International Education of the University by registered mail or e-mail 2 months in advance.

  1. Resume, Diploma and Transcript
    1. Resume
      The resume must also include copies of the applicant's passport, diploma and occupation certification.
    2. Highest diploma and transcripts for Certificate Program applicant
    3. Highest diploma, transcripts, research achievements and expected research aspects for Advanced Certificate Program applicant
    4. Highest diploma, academic degree obtained and original copy of transcripts for Bachelor's, Master's and Ph.D. degree applicant
  2. Recommendations
    1. High school graduates who apply for a Bachelor's degree program should submit recommendations by their former school or working unit.
    2. Certificate program applicants should submit recommendations by associate professors or higher.
    3. Master's, Ph.D. degree and advanced certificate program applicants should submit recommendations by two professors or associate professors.
  3. Physical Examination Record for Foreigners
    The Physical Examination Record for Foreigners, with photo of the applicant affixed and stamp of the hospital, must be completed and signed by a medical doctor after a physical examination of the applicant. A copy of the Physical Examination Record for Foreigners should be submitted to the School of International Education of the University at the time of application, and the original copy can be brought with the student to the University.

  4. Financial Guarantee Form
    The Financial Guarantee Form should be completed by the guarantor with his information including relationship to the applicant, position, telephone and address.
  5. Guarantee Form in China
    The Guarantee Form in China should be completed by the applicant's guarantor in China with his information including relationship to the applicant, position, telephone and address.

After receiving the required application documents, the University will determine the list of qualified applicants. Once approved, the applicant will receive an Admission Notice, Visa Application for Foreigners Wishing to Study in China (JW202 Form) and a Physical Examination Record for Foreigners from the University. After the completion of these forms, the applicant may obtain a Student Visa (X-Visa or F-Visa) from the Chinese embassy or consulate. The Admission Notice, the Physical Examination Record and JW202 Form must be brought with the student to China for registration.

Before formal enrolment, the applicants to take the Bachelor', Master's or Ph.D. programs are required to pass the entrance examination or assessment, sponsored by the University and HSK test by the nation. The applicants can get the details about the entrance examination or assessment after their arrival at the University. Those who fail in the examination, assessment, or test can attend the preliminary courses or Chinese language program at the University.
