The First Chinese Short-term Class for Advanced Studies which Our University and South Korea Taegu University Hold Cooperatively Opens
On December 27 , 2005 , the first Chinese short-term class for advanced studies that our university and South Korea Taegu University hold cooperatively begins formally. 14 college students from 9 different majors in Taegu University will participate in 4 - week Chinese training course in our university. Students are divided into two classes, that is, elementary class and intermediate one, based on their Chinese level. Students mainly study such courses as intensive reading, oral Chinese, literature, calligraphy, wushu , culture appreciation and so on. During this period in our university, those South Korean college students and students of our university will also hold various exchange activities and activities for promoting friendship.
Conducting this Chinese short-term class for advanced studies is good beginning of friendly cooperation between South Korea Taegu University and North China Electric Power University . It is also an achievement made in expanding international students' enrollment scale and stabilizing recruitment channel of international students.
