Professor K L Lo from the University of Strathclyde Visits NCEPU
Professor K L Lo, an academician of British Royal Society (Edinburgh), and a professor of electronic and electrical engineering at the University of Strathclyde ( Britain ) visits NCEPU from March 12 to 14. He gives an English proficiency interview with the students who entered the "2+2" joint education program at NCEPU in 2005 and are going to the University of Strathclyde for another two-year-long further studies.
During his visit, Professor K L Lo has a discussion about the enrolment of the "2+2" double-degree program with Professor Liu Jianxin, vice dean of the School of International Education of NCEPU. Professor Lo expresses his satisfaction with the students' academic performance.
Both University of Strathclyde and NCEPU are well-known universities in the fields of electric power engineering with a lot of similarities in scientific research and academic disciplines. Since 2004, approved by the Ministry of Education of China , the two universities have developed the international cooperation program in the major of electric power system and its automation. Up to now, the program has recruited students for three years in succession.
